This is a large SORNA 45.5mm. bullhead chronograph that is essentially
new old stock. The chrome case and exotic dial are essentially pristine.
The movement was just cleaned and all functions are operating smoothly
and accurately. These watches look amazing on the wrist!
This SEIKO reference 6139-8102 from the late 1960’s is a very good
looking and uncommon vintage chronograph. The 39mm. stainless steel case
and original bracelet display fine overall condition for the age. The
striking black dial is the hardest and most desirable to find among the
range of colours available in this model. The polished bezel frames the
extremely attractive original black dial with original handset. The
original crown is present. The day of the week wheel can be set to
either English or Spanish. The fine automatic Seiko, Japan – calibre
6139B, 17 jewel movement was just cleaned and is accurate. This really
is a great looking and highly collectible vintage SEIKO.
The GLYCINE AIRMAN vintage military watch was used in Vietnam and was
popular among military servicemen and pilots everywhere. From the 1950’s
to the 1970’s pilots have relied on the AIRMAN due to their bold and
easy to read 24 hour dial. These dials display both 24 hour time and
conventional time at the same time. This 1960’s GLYCINE dial is very
clean, all original The lume on the hands was updated many years ago.
Notice the early and uncommon red date. The unpolished stainless steel
case is in exceptional shape and retains the original turning bezel,
along with the original (early 60’s version) screw-back. The lower crown
locks the rotating bezel. The automatic winding, signed FELSA 892 was
recently (expensively) cleaned. These watches are becoming hard to find
in original condition. Many are not aware, GLYCINE AIRMAN watches have a
hacking seconds feature. When the crown is pulled out a hollow tube
shoots up a microscopic wire at 12:00 stopping the second hand when it
reaches 12:00. This hacking seconds feature is working perfectly. Please
also note. PARTS TO FIX SECOND STOP ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE…they sold
out 2007. Due to the desirability of the GLYCINE AIRMAN, there are FAKES
out there… many are getting scammed-be careful, especially on eBay.
This truly is a prime and hard-to-find example.
This is a MASSIVE 1960’s vintage WAKMANN Chronograph measuring 40.5mm.
in stainless steel with the original stainless steel bracelet. The
original turning bezel is pristine, as is the amazing “panda” dial
having inner tachymeter scale. The steel bevel-lug case looks amazing,
with only a ding on the inner lower left bezel that could be polished if
desired. The fine Valjoux 7733 manual winding movement was just cleaned
and is accurate, with the chronograph functioning perfectly. I can’t
say I’ve found a better preserved example of this undervalued watch.
Finding large and fine vintage chronographs such as this is becoming
quite uncommon. I expect these to increase in value.
Here is a vintage stainless steel OMEGA FLIGHTMASTER cal. 911 vintage
watch dating to 1971 and measuring 43x52mm. The caliber 911 (cal. 861
based) manual winding OMEGA movement was just fully overhauled, cleaned,
functioning perfectly and keeping accurate time. The OMEGA mineral
glass crystal is without a scratch. The original dial and hands are
about as clean as they come (essentially like new). The jet plane on the
case back is still readable. The 20mm. OMEGA stainless steel original
bracelet is still present. Much money was spent replacing the pushers
with the correct, pristine coloured OMEGA pushers and crowns. The case
was restored, with only one battle scar ding on the bezel edge. The dial
is amazing-beautifully colour changed to a “tropical” tone and retains
the ORIGINAL handset. The yellow hands were needed when infrared was on
in the cockpit, allowing for easy readability. Usually, the hands have
been replaced with NEW-these are original. The Flightmaster was produced
in low numbers compared to many other OMEGA models. This is a large,
cool and imposing watch on the wrist! We have priced this watch very
well.
This automatic winding caliber 565 OMEGA automatic winding movement was
just cleaned and is accurate. The OMEGA AUTOMATIC watch dates to 1970
with the case looking very clean and scratch less. The crystal is signed
and correct OMEGA hesalite, plus the crown is original OMEGA. This dial
is original with some subtle aging that looks MUCH less noticeable in
person, and more of a uniform and appealing patina when you see it on
your wrist. We purchased this watch from the original owner here in
London, Ontario, who indicated that he barely wore the watch over the
years-keeping it in a drawer. This fine OMEGA can be worn daily for a
lifetime!
This is a spectacular IWC automatic 1960’s watch in stainless steel,
housing the fine caliber 8531 automatic winding IWC movement which was
just cleaned and accurate. The original logo crown is still present. The
steel 35mm. case is absolutely shimmering. This dial looks pristine and
is VERY hard to tell it was restored-and looks amazing. If you want a
black or brown leather band, please let me know and I will switch it.
These watches are truly undervalued in my opinion. Wear this daily for a
lifetime!
Sekonda (founded in 1966) watches are manufactured in Russia; and being a
BRITISH company, were then distributed to the public. This circa late
1960’s example is one of the cleanest I’ve ever found. The chrome case
measures 36mm. and looks like it was barely worn. The stunning glossy
black dial and hands are pristine. I just love the lime green lume
plots, hands and red accents. The fine chronograph movement is based on
the Venus 150/152 caliber, just cleaned and is accurate. You will marvel
over this example.
This is not an ordinary OMEGA SEAMASTER. This 1970 OMEGA SEAMASTER is a
large 36x44x11mm. with beefy lugs, correct OMEGA hesalite crystal and
correct OMEGA winding crown. The ORIGINAL stardust dial with dual name
“TURLER” dial, denotes this watch was sold by “TURLER”-a GENEVA based
jewelrly store for the past 130 years. This dial and original hands look
pristine and really grabs the eye. The fine caliber 565 automatic 24
jewel movement was recently cleaned and is accurate.
This is a timeless classic-a 1960’s OMEGA DE Ville 34mm. with gold
capped case and steel back. The dial and hands are original and
extremely clean. The crown was replaced at some time with a generic
crown that looks very similar to the De Ville crown. The fine 500 series
caliber OMEGA movement was cleaned and is accurate. This is a fine
OMEGA you can wear daily at a price you cannot argue!
